I've had my PMP since 2010 and since that time have performed in a Service Program (Client Services Manager) role. My goal is to be a key member in a PMO with a role that focuses on billing/receivab

Thinking the best path would be to find a project coordinator/assistant role and build from there.

Since you have some PM experience, you might want to consider an assignment with your corporate Finance group. It would give you the billing and receivable experience to apply in a PMO.

Hello Stephane. I actually looked for that opportunity but none existed. I was actually impacted by my company's recent RIF and my last day is 12/31/15. That said; I will extend my job search to include corporate Finance opportunities. Really appreciate your input.

Good luck in the job search. While it may not be perfect, you might look for a volunteer opp in a non profit with a focus on finance support for them. Again, not perfect I know but will provide you some experience.
