I heard that, PMP has made some changes in their PMP certification examination process OR pattern. Could you please help me in understanding the changes and how to prepare for the new challenges. Saving Changes...

Hi, yes changes will happen in early Jan 2016. Essentially PMI is adding tasks to the 5 stages with the exception of closing.
These focus on stakeholder management and aligning project results to stakeholder expectations. Also communications with stakeholders, managing the relationships etc.
There is also renewed focus on procurement management.
I see PMI moving in a direction to ensure projects deliver results that meet business and stakeholder expectations.
I gave a short update in one on my presentations in early Nov. If u like the material, do contact me thanks
Cheers

Jen,
I echo this, the PMI is seeing the result of ensuring business value is realized. This is evident in the recent push for Business Analysis within the PMI community. The end game here is ensuring the stakeholders are brought throughout the process and that business value is effectively traced/mapped and implemented. It's a trend that I think will continue to influence the profession in 2016 and beyond.

Hi Dears,
I have the examination on 27 of January, already scheduled, is that will be updated with the changes? or it will be as per the 5th edition of PMBOK?

Hi Abdallah, the last date for the current PMBOK version to be tested in the PMP is 11 Jan 2016, so if your exam is scheduled on the 27 Jan then you will be affected by the changes Saving Changes...
