in other discussion was pointed out the relationship between bad ethics and poor risk management. In other therms it was considered that bad ethics could depend from a short time vision (not from an intentional bad behavior) which depends from a poor risk management.
what do you think about it?
do you think that a correct and complete knowledge of ethic code could influence this relationship?
thanks in advance for your comments Saving Changes...

That sound good Steven,
and work well when people act badly intentionally. But do you think the unethical behavior could be due to poor analysis? and If you think in that manner how we can reduce this risk?
many thanks
Hm... I'm not sure I follow this. Bad analysis? So you mean misinterpretation by the part of the reviewers? Saving Changes...

yes and no, we have a poor analysis when we don't analyze all elements that are within our reach or we analyzed them superficially.
in this case we couldn't have bad intention but decisions based on inadequate information could lead to behaviors that ultimately are unethical
what do you think?

Fosco,
In theory that all sounds great. But how, in practice, do we action this. What practical advice could we use to better the poor analysis?

Fosco, I believe Poor analysis has nothing to do with ethics. It has to do with poor planning and maybe lack of imformation, I personally can't relate poor analysis to ethics unless it was done intentionally.

Good point. I'm not sure if he was referring to more of a personal (internal) analysis or just base level project analysis.
It's a stretch to connect ethics with poor project planning.

Ethics to be real, working and breathing, it must be taken up by leadership as priority. If a board and its directors truly understand their governance roles, they will promote ethics among their ranks and inspire ethical pride organizationally. Risk management can only be strengthen when risks are raised ethically without bias. Saving Changes...

Hi Steven and Rami,
I understand our point of view but we have to consider this aspect:
- people could have good intention but, due to poor risk analysis, they don't consider some aspects and take decision to proceed that, in the future, can have ethical and civil/penal consequences. We have some examples in Italy (and other European countries); some company are involved in civil and penal process for asbestos use in production: they are accused because used this material without consider all implication this material have. The matter is: they used this material only in the period it was legal but they go on using it without consider all scientific info was produced during that time.
People died for it and some people which lived in the zone of the production stills suffer healthy consequences.
As you can see, caused by a poor analysis, the y have legal consequences (trials) but ethical too (some people died and other ones are sick)

This is why always everything in life is Iterative and should be validated and Quality control should be done frequently to ensure that the project or organization are in compliance with all RECENT regulations.
