In the introduction at "the black belt memory jogger" we can read:
"the six sigma methodologies are a business philosophy and initiative that enables world class quality and continuous improvement to achieve the higher level of customer satisfaction"
I see in this definition three focal points:
- business philosophy: these methodologies are based and applied under a clearly defined mental approach finalized to reach the highest levels of effectiveness and efficiency
- continuous improvement: the high quality is the product of a process based on the lessons learned
- customer satisfaction: the methodologies are addressed to the requirements fulfillment.
which common point with project management you can see?
have you ever applied these methodologies in your projects?
what about your experience?
