Considering the PMBOK 5, what is the process that the change management plan is an output?
My concern is that, the change management plan is developed or created in which process throughout the project? Saving Changes...
While this is an older topic, I found it while researching the same question for myself. I found the answer on PP 88 of PMBOK, Sixth Edition, with regard to outputs of the Develop Project Mangement Plan process:
"Additional Components. Most components of the project management plan are produced as outputs from other processes, though SOME ARE PRODUCED DURING THIS PROCESS."
Those listed as produced during the Develop PMP Process itself include:
Change Management Plan
Configuration Management Plan
Performance Measurement Baseline
Project Life Cycle
Development Approach Saving Changes...
