Its not that companies underestimate the cost of training. They discount its value and in the heat of negotiations, negotiate it out. I think this is because the people negotiating the deal are the ones that will have to use the product. I believe the cost of training should include ample onsite support and followups during and after implementation. Training and support should never be itemized in the contract. Its too big a target for cost concious CFO's to negotiate out of the deal. Saving Changes...
