I am managing multiple project out of a centralized project pool. I want to be able to give each resource their tasks on a weekly basis. I can run the "TO-DO LIST" report, but I have two problems with this: 1. It can only be printed, not saved. 2. Since I have multiple project, it does not show project title and roll-up task detail.
I have settled for now on running the WEB report version of the WHO DOES WHAT report, but it is very large and hard to read.
Any ideas on how to get a decent to-do list that I can save on-line and/or email to the resources. Saving Changes...
You can use Microsoft Project Central for all such purposes. It is a companion tool to MS Project 2000. In this collaborative environment, all resources of the project shall be connected to a central server and when they login to the server, they will eb able to see their assignments, book time, see updated information on their assignments, submit starus reports, etc. Senior Management can review projects on their desktops using portfolio views, etc.
Alternatively, you can try sending team assign / team update messages to resources by email. Saving Changes...
