Best Practices and Lessons Learned from my side:

1- System should be monitored and updated on daily basis.
2- No share of information outside the organization - Confidentiality is Important.
3- Giving access and what level of access to be determined wisely - Not all personnel should have full access to the website.
4- Allow team members to contribute to the system but sending their suggestions to the system in charge. This could add significant improvements as some members could come up with brilliant ideas.

Depends on the organizational governance and policies, but Rami has given a good initiation to the topic. There could be many more, like succession planning, hazard planning and disaster management guidelines to be considered a part of data management governance mechanism.

Thanks Suhail, Yes, I agree with you, the list could be very long.

By disaster management, do you mean in case of data loss ? I would appreciate it if you can shed more light on this point so I can properly understand because this is very useful information.
