Does anyone know of any recent studies or papers where I can find some quantified statistics about the benefits/rewards of effective project management? I need to make some statements about the rewards of good PM and it would be great if I could find some numbers and be able to back them up. Doesn't need to be specific. Saving Changes...
The Standish Group (www.standishgroup.com) publishes these types of statistic, but they generally change a bundle for them.
My recommendation is to go to any reasonably well stocked university library and search the literature. There are several journals and periodicals that publish this information. Much of this information can be accessed on line.
