While I understand and accept the opinion of my colleague on this thread, I see your options as being given fish (project coach) or learning to fish (training).
If you can, I would go for both. Take the training early so that it will provide you with the base to understand and appreciate the coach. Saving Changes...

Who is the training for? Core project team? Change advocates? Executive team? Consumers of the change? Depth and thematic focus will change accordingly. Saving Changes...
