I am still using MS Project 98 and I do not know if such a resource or add-on exist. Here is a sample scenario:
When creating an initial project plan after all prerequisites have been completed, Is there a macro or method that I can apply to have MS Project automatically calculate the sum of the time for task 1 and Task 3 (reference attached Senerio.JPG)?
if Task 1 (line item 3) has a duration of the 7 days, and Task 3 has a duration of the 7 days, and I assign Task 2 with the dependencies 3ss,5ff. It would be nice if the duration for Task 1 and Task 3 could automatically calculate the Task 2 duration.
That would be a great help, especially if you are dealing with multiple critical paths and don't have the time to deal with the MS Projects import and export to other program (i.e. EXCEL) features. Your responses would be greatly appreciated.
