I do not believe you can claim that meeting as it is part of your job as a Project Manager but You could claim PDU's for Working as a Practitioner at a maximum of 8 PDU's / Cycle (3 Years).

I think if you are actively resolving problems related to your project with a consultant, this belongs to category Giving Back: Working as a practitioner, as Rami mentioned.
If this meeting is more like a presentation or training how to resolve the issue you have in the project, it might be applicable to Education instead.
Anyway, read the hints in the link provided by Pankaj. Saving Changes...
As this is part of your job and is adding to your experience, it can only be considered as PDUs gained through experience. You can claim only 5 PDUS per hear in this category, whatever you do, consulting or the actual work. You cannot claim any PDUs separately for these sessions. If you call an subject matter expert for short-term advice or consulting, each hour he spends assisting you, can be claimed by the consultant as PDUs. Saving Changes...

Hi Suhail,
For "Working as a Practitioner", it is no more 5 PDU's / Year. As per the new system, you can only claim a total of 8 PDU's per 3 Years cycle and not 5 PDU's / Year and this is for PMP holders. For RMP, SP and ACP, only 4 PDU's per cycle. Please check the below link:

Further in Education category you can claim Organization Meetings, activities and local events related to the profession Professional meetings that include an educational component provide an opportunity to learn and also to network. PMI chapters and third parties host these activities throughout the year on a local basis. Your organization may conduct professional events as well. ? Search the PMI events calendar ?
