I received my PMP 7 years ago. And it did not directly led to salary increase. The certification did increase my knowledge, confidence and communication expertise though - these changes indirectly led to more career opportunity and growth. Like Julia, I believe in life long learning and growth, and recommend pursuing certification as needed for your professional field.

Like Niraj, it happened (and is still happening) with me. There was difference in knowledge and performance which has led to more opportunities.

As for your question, the answer is not yet. :)

Not yet, but the knowledge gained has indeed set me apart from my counterparts and has afforded me more opportunities and responsibilities.

In my case, I dont think PMP credential increased my salary by itself, but it definitely opened new opportunities.
