Ive done the assessment 4 days ago and everything went smooth but did not yet receive the email to acceot position and Ive heard that we wilk be receiving this email to acceot position at the beginning of March.
Stephane, have you already received the email to accept the position and it was added under you volunteer activities ?

Just so everyone knows, your volunteer work will be recorded against your PMI profile and it should update pm.com's number of volunteer assignments in the last year.

When I open the VRMS, it shows that my application is in progress and the status is submitted although I completed the online assessment so nothing was added so far to my volunteer engagement history nor I received an email to accept position.

Just so everyone knows, your volunteer work will be recorded against your PMI profile and it should update pm.com's number of volunteer assignments in the last year.

I've had some that remained in progress for a while. I'm guessing it depends on the volunteer coordinator as to how quickly the records are updated. You could follow up with [email protected] and see about getting your volunteer work closed.

I wish I'd noticed this sooner! It's closed now. I've been trying to find a first volunteer opportunity but they aren't abundant. The local chapter is not an option for me as I live in Montreal and my French is not at a professional level. I'll have to keep my eyes open for the 'virtual' opportunities.
