On Going Research in Project Management

Hello All,

I would like to know few of the topics in which research in project management is current going on. I am requesting this information to search on some good material to read more on new upcoming topics in area of project management.

It would be much better to know also if any of you are currently involved in such topics in your organization, educational institutions, etc. This can give some insight into practical know-how of research topic.

Actually I am looking for opportunities to work on such research topics. But even after few months not getting one, so thought to better start my own research. :-)

Overall I see AGILE is winning to be a good research topic. I think I can start with this.

But my recommendation is agile but not related to IT or software, not related to a life cycle or method. Agile in its pure state that you can find by searching Rick Dove´s book "Response Ability" which contains most of the result of the USA DoD NSF/Agility Forum (1990) where agile and organizational agility was formally defined.
