Annex A1 of the PMBOK is titled, The Standard for Project Management of a Project. Para A1.1 explains some background details about the PMBOK being a standard. My questions: 1.Is the PMBOK a standard for the project management of a project, or is it the standard (as per the text)? What is the difference and what are the implications? 2.In terms of standard, what is the difference between applicability of the contents in chapters 3 - 13 and the Annex A1? Your help will be greatly appreciated!
