Hi, I started my job in project and portfolio management. My role is to learn more about the current innovative practices and processes in the different industries and bring on the new changes to the current.
What would be a good starting point to learn more into project management and PPM solutions? I already took my CAPM exam so i know about some of the terminolgies but still i feel there is a gap between my understanding and what is required for me to do.
I am advised to read insightful literature on this. But i would welcome suggestions.

PMBOK is the best book you can refer to for this purpose and specifically projects management. If you are a PMI member, then you are eligible for a free soft copy of the latest edition of the book.
