You have to search for a chapter that is near you and join it, I guess.

Hi Maen,

As far as I noticed, you are a member of two PMI Chapters. I do not know if Arabian Gulf Chapter has offices near you. It is always preferable and more beneficial to connect to chapters in your area so you can engage efficiently with them.

In terms of how to get engaged with them, you can login through your PMI account to these chapters web pages and:

1- Check their activities.
2- Engage in voluntary works with them or gatherings which I assume they do regularly.
3- Connect with Chapter Members here.
4- Subscribe to receive the monthly activities report or magazine from these chapters so you can know what is going on.

Hope this helps.

Rami provides some great ideas. Volunteering (I'll echo his #2) is one of the best ways to get more involved with your local chapter.

Dear Maen,

I would like to thank you for posting your question here.

As i noticed you are a member of two Chapters, PMI AGC Chapter and PMI Jordan Chapter, and you are currently living and working in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Please be informed that Arabian Gulf Chapter has been placed on “Probation” for six months due to non-compliance with PMI’s policy. During the probationary status, AGC has been removed from PMI Marketplace and the chapter will not be visible to the general public.

We are currently working with the chapter board to resolve all outstanding issues in order to return the chapter to good standing with PMI and we will inform all members once the outstanding issues are resolved.

Please note that soon enough all PMI members that live and work in Saudi Arabia can join PMI KSA Chapter that will be launched very soon, and to gain all benefits that chapter provides to its own members i would like to advice you to engage with local chapter and to attend events, meet the local board and participate in opportunities to volunteer.

Please dont hesitate to reach out to me if you have any additional questions, Thank you.

My e-mail address [email protected]

Best Regards,

Adel Hattab
