How does the Tuckman model differ, if at all, in a Virtual Environment? I see the Tuckman model as not addressing the entire team as it would for colocated members.

Incidentally, I was researching on that too and found the book Virtual Teams: Reaching Across Space, Time and Organisations With Technology by Lipnack and Stamps. This is a very comprehensive book. They modify Tuckman’s seminal model of team development so that it can be applied to virtual teams. The new model still incorporates the initial period
of inefficiency that occurs directly after formation that Tuckman described, but shows
virtual teams achieving a level of effectiveness in less time than traditional teams. Take a look at that one and tell me what you think.
Hello, Question --> if I lead an Integration Project with a group of people from two different companies which are Merging , can it be considered as a virtual team management, as location wise and as an organization we are still separate units ?

I would have to answer yes as was mentioned in the Webinar, technically, you could be considered virtual if you are located on different floors of the same building. I am anxious to see how others answers too.
