PM Methodologies for Small Short Solution Implemention Projects

I work for a company that provides HIPAA compliance software and services. Our typical project is very short and relatively small. Can someone point me to a good resource on how to management short and small projects? It seems that most of the process examples that I have looked at on this site are geared for much bigger projects.

To I guess your questions, it really depends on what kind of client you have. I used to be in sales till about 9a months ago, and found I knew more than most people doing the jobs I was selling. since then I have been part of 13 hipaa asessments most as a functional BA, but I am currentley on contract with a Large payer as a JPM in the PMO office. I would be glad to share my time in the HIPAA pond, shoot me a e-mail, or once you respond I will send you my contact info. Allot of my jobs were with physician offices(providers) one with 198 physicians down to a 2 doctor Group. I would be happy to chat.
