As PMP credential holder can I work in Germany or must have obtained the Prince2 credential?

I am interest of working in Germany as Project Manager and I am inquired ,
whether my PMP certificate is valid or a PRINCE 2 certificate is needed in order to have better chances for a job in Construction Industry.

PMP would be fine.
The PMP certification becomes more and more important in germany over the last years and is still grwoing.
PRINCE2 isn't that popular in germany than you may think.
In construction industry the GPM certification is most important and valuable, since this GPM was developed out of this industry.
For construction inudstry GPM might be the best certification; i am working in IT and there is PMP most important.
I do not really know if GPM does international certifications ...
