I currently hold a CSM and was wondering if there would be an advantage of persuing the PMI-ACP from PMI

George, the kicker here is it sounds like you're in the pursuit of knowledge. Read up on XP, Lean, Kanban and in addition to Scrum, you've pretty much covered the content of the ACP. The PMI-ACP is merely going to certify that you fundamentally understand that content. You should be a practitioner first. CSM doesn't require any experience for certification but PMI-ACP does.

I was a content reviewer on the PMI-ACP certification, when it was being created. Though I was passionate out it at the time, the 3 certifications that are getting people interviews are CSM, PMP, and Certifieed SAFe Practitioner. Though the certifications will help you get to the next interview, your experiences are what will make you marketable.
I like your perspective Derek

PMI-ACP is comparatively harder to pass out.
While CSM is basically focuses on Scrum methodology, ACP makes you understand Agile methodology contents/concept, as earlier mentioned.
PMI-ACP has edge over CSM as far as syllabus is concerned as ACP covers much more in Agile methodologies.
