I am trying to use MS Project to create a schedule for the big meeting we put on each year (15,000 attendees). I need to be able to set start and ends by actual times (i.e. 4/5/2003 8:00 AM - 4/5/2003 8:55 AM). MS Project will only let me put in dates and durations. How do I get it to accept times?

I changed the timescale to hours. How do I add the fields to the task management window. I don't want to move the bars around. I would rather enter the time right after the date. Saving Changes...
And what added value will MSP bring to managing the meeting? If there is none, stop wasting time fiddling with it and pull out Excel or Word. Saving Changes...
More important than how is why. I understand the need for planning a meeting, but in general, I would strongly recommend a reality check before using this. Why?
And the answer is:
You can't manage what you can't measure! If you can manage down to the minute - especially the minute something starts, then go ahead. Otherwise, you are fooling yourself. I struggle to imagine any other scenario than choreography or the planning of shifts in which this would be useful. Saving Changes...
