Certification Vs Experience

Certify and then get a Job to earn experiience or acquire expirience and then obrain a certification?

After I saw someone post an answer to another question, I decided to post this tricky question...

If we are speaking about professional certification, i would say experience then the certification, because certification is about theoretical knowledge you may have the knowledge but you don't know how to apply it practically.That's why all professional certificates require an experience to obtain them.

Get a job experience and go for certification

I earned the certification after many of work experience.
