After I saw someone post an answer to another question, I decided to post this tricky question...

First touch the world, second go for a Certification then you will be ready to move to the next step. I think that it is good to get some experience in short projects that will help you to get a better profit from the certification that will push you to an upper level.
Great Xavier, cast your answer here also...

When it comes to the hiring of PMs I would say that its a totum of the following...
Experience
Certification
Intellect and Relationship

Personally I have advised on many projects however having full end to end experience is minimal. Hard to find work as a direct PM because of my consulting role but the certifications and relationships help get me those consulting helicopter roles. Wish there was some sort of 1:1 experience chart but its hard.
Drake, cast it here http://www.projectmanagement.com/polls/325...get-a-good-Job-

I would say experience then certification. However, if you take the PMP as an example your hand is somewhat forced as there is the requirement to have experience as part of the qualification process.

I think somebody should come up with a way to breed a very large shrimp. That way, you could ride him, then, after you camped at night, you could eat him. How about it, science?
