The Law of Contribution teaches us that growing yourself enables you to grow others? As project managers we should always be growing ourselves and our teams!!

Good question

Thanks for your thoughtful response. Using tools to enable knowledge sharing is great. What type of things do you do that intentionally build up your teams?

Knowledge dissemination and experience sharing are a matter of continuous processes that can not be limited by time or a place; when a moment of a show case is arising you have to take the initiative to express yourself among who ever might be concern or interested (the targeted group usually will be members in your team, peers in the corporate, colleagues,...etc.) what you may think is right and helpful while keeping yourself ready and flexible for a further elaboration and discussions for give and take with your audience.

Yes - I agree with what you are saying. Sharing/enabling requires communication. Everyone communicates but very few make genuine connections with their teams. In my experience, when their is a genuine connection between the PM and team or stakeholders, the project has a greater degree of success. What do you do to develop a genuine connection with the people around you?
