I'm hoping I get some of your perspectives about project management software you've used and prefer above other products. I'm not asking for negative feedback about any one product and instead hoping your experience with one might shorten my research and selection process. We're currently using SS and it works really well for task tracking, collaboration, and gannts but we're having challenges with some other aspects. I'm looking for a single tool we can use to collaborate across multiple in-house projects. We still need the ability to build task lists (manual , import/export using Excel) for each project, set milestones as well as gannt charts for each. Ideally a Dashboard where each project rolls-up as well as calendar showing personal assignments and assignments for other individuals for management purposes. Other features not mentioned or typically found are assumed to be included. I'll look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance!

Everyone chooses the software they choose to solve the UNIQUE problems they have. What works for one person will not necessarily work for you. You need to start by defining the problems you are trying to solve not a feature list. There's a good post that will give you some pointers here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-choose-...spock-articles. Good luck

Thanks Phil. Good article for words of advise. I agree with the 5Y's and its an excellent simple technique for mining requirements.
