There is no such benchmark- scoring 80% + or a 90% + would guarantee passing the PMP in real. Try taking different sets of questions for each Knowledge area and that should help you understand if there is still any gap for that particular topic/area. George, its important to score consistently above 75% for all the mock exams. I always aimed for higher, as it also gave you more confidence in going into the next final exam.

i am sorry, but i have to disagree here. Aiming 90% is not necessary and can be demotivating and destructive.
The general rule goes:
"If you could CONSISTENTLY score 75%+ in every NEW mock exam you take, then there is a good chance that you might be ready."

I assume 70% is must to be scored in Mock test before one wish to appear for your actual exam. Aside one must solve thousands of questions possible as it gives you the approach to a particular situation as per PMPBOK as your possibility of answering correctly increases Saving Changes...
I have a slightly different opinion regarding scores in mock exams. After appearing in two PMI exams this year my conclusion is that the mock exam score has not much to do with what you will face or how you will perform during actual exam. What it does is, it improves your confidence level , it gives you a feel of how tiring it can be to sit for 3 - 4 hrs looking at screen and trying to figure out what exactly the question is asking for. Which in no way is a bad thing, because that is the kind of practice you will be needing. As far as scores are concerned, I did not face a single question which was like the ones in any mock up exams. Usually mock up exam questions are way simpler in scenarios and options presented than in real exam. Saving Changes...
