More than 85% in a 200 questions exam is a good scenario for trying to pass the PMP certification

I was scoring more than 80% in my last 7-10 days before actual exam and I cleared the exam comfortably.

80% to 90% success. After such scores i felt confident to schedule the exam. There are other factors on the pmi site that should be taken in consideration.

when you could score consistently 75%+ in every NEW mock exam (50Q min.) than there is a good chance that you might be ready to go ...

I tried to get 75 - 80% on the 4 different test simulators I used before I took the actual exam. I also took the exam on a Monday with a co-worker of mine and we spent the weekend at a hotel studying for the exam. We read the entire PMBOK cover to cover over the weekend and really looked into the areas where we had weakness before we went and took the exam bright and early on a Monday morning. We both passed!
