Hi every1,
There are 4 major processes that are said to be a common feature of every project, namely,
a. Monitoring
b. Controlling
c. Evaluating
d. Terminating

My question is, why are these 4 processes central to all projects ?

I am giving my final exam on project management day after tomorrow (14th), any help on this would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance..cheers !

Obviously you are at a different school. The PMBOK(R) GUIDE as an ANSII standard states that there are five (5) processes. Initiation, Plan, Execution, Control, and Close-Out. Chapter three of the guide expolains clearly why they exist as they do.
