Transition Strategy

Our client organization is currently in the process of restructuring its organization. Actually, the restructuring is kinda unusual given that we will be the one to absorb their people (that is, the System Integration function of my Client will be given to us, and so all their people in this area will be absorbed by us) from top level management-down. What do you think is the best transition strategy taking into consideration a change in the working set-up of the people that we will absorb (those who used to be our client to being our staff)
