24x7 and 8x5 workdays in same project.

I have a project with three interconnected work group efforts. One is on a 24x7 schedule and the other two on 8x5 workdays. Changing one group to 24x7 forces all groups to go to that figure.
I am using MS Project 98. Is there a way around this or does 2000 or 2002 allow different workday settings?

In project you can assign different calendars to each resource. Set one up for each resource.

You can select a 24 hour shift or a standard calendar for each resource.
