Time Fields in MS Project

I'm trying to create a report from a project database that will show forecasted work for a resource, by project. I have saved my project database to the SQL database that Project Central uses. I have also saved my project to an Access database. In both cases, the time fields in a project are not displayed in true time format. For instance, a task that has 427 hrs. and 69 days duration will show as 331200 in duration field in both databases. I have tried converting this number by hours, minutes in a day, etc. and can't come up with what MS Project is showing in my project plan. I know this conversion has got to be something simple but I'm not getting it! Does anyone know the algorithm for converting time fields in MS Project. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Yvonne! What is the name of the field as it appeard in MS Project? That will help me track this down. Also, have you tried the MS project page? It is: http://www.microsoft.com/office/project/support/default.asp
