Hi Marwan, Change management is an essential activity for success of any IT project, it may decide success or failure of ERP implementation. This exercise should start before go-live, in fact before UAT. Change management is an exercise to make organization change ready. In your case, making users aware of new system and how can they use it. Resistance to change is expected human behavior, so designing and delivering trainings to user, resolving their queries and issues are some of the most important activities that change manager need to handle. You must identify all the user groups and their training needs first and then plan your actions accordingly. As your ERP system is already implemented, it is essential to get feedback from users about any issues, are they able to use it efficiently, any needed functionality missing etc. Creation of user guides for different user groups or module wise is an excellent idea. Even if users have initial trainings they may miss on some functionality or additional facilities. User guides provide good reference material for them. Lastly, if some essential functionality is really missing, you need to analyze it and provide with the solution in collaboration with your CCB, users and your team. Hope my answer will help you, please let me know if you need any additional details. Saving Changes...

Marwan,
Is somebody holding that change manager position before you or is it a new one.
Try to talk to position previous holder and look out for some documentation in your internal sites.

Marwan, You have already received good advice on this post. I will add my comments:
You seem to have a decent idea of what change management entails. I suggest drilling down and understanding what the role means to your supervisor or client. Once you have done enough research of your own, sitting down with your supervisor is recommended - with an objective to understand, agree on and set the expectations. I suggest talking to your main stakeholders after you meet with your supervisor, with an objective to understand their needs from the project life cycle and product life cycle perspective.
Please feel free to reach out to me via email if you need more info or help.

Does the organization have a change management methodology? (Prosci is one of the better known methodologies.)
You may have to do your own learning as you go along. You won't be the first to have to do so and surely not the last one.
All the best. Saving Changes...
