Are there discounts on MS Project available through anything other than being a student?

I find it hard to believe there's only $589.99 or $25/month available out there. Anyone know of any discounts through ProjectManagement.com? I checked with PMI directly - nothing. Saving Changes...

Not sure if there are any discounts, but depending on the requirements you need, perhaps Gantter could be useful - free of charge, not as powerful as MS Project though

Check and see if your company has a Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft for their licensing. Usually there is an employee purchase program included in the contract. I recall I got the full 2013 Office product suite and Project for around $50. It's less I believe if you don't want the installation disks and just do a download. Saving Changes...

Thanks, all, for the great suggestions ! I'm my own corporate entity these days, so my firm's enterprise license isn't an option right now.
Also, since MS Project is still the standard for most organizations, I was looking for a copy of that specific app at a discount. There are tons of online/cloud free or nearly free for personal use apps out there, I know.
In case it helps anyone, a few I liked when I did some research were: Zoho, Wrike, Workfront, Clarizen.... Saving Changes...
