Difference between Gantt chart and Network Diagram.

Network diagrams include activity dependencies so you can make critical part calculations and implement schedule compression techniques.However Gantt charts does not include activity dependencies. Activities, tasks or events are represented as bars in Gantt Charts and main structure of it has not changed throughout the years.

It's simple! As per PMBOK, Gantt chart used to track progress work by using rectangular tubes to show the tasks when starts to up to date or finish without relationship between these tasks The time in X axis and the tasks in Y axis and used to present to middle management. For Network show all activities, duration, relationships, critical path method. Better refer to time management in PMBOK to understand these information!!
