The Austin PMP chapter has numerous events and activities. Do all chapters conduct these type of functions?

I think you'll find that each chapter has its own "personality". Smaller chapters in rural areas may not be able to have frequent events - they may meet once a quarter and have a couple events a year besides chapter meetings. Larger chapters in metro areas probably meet monthly, have a number of committees which plan their own events and activities.

Just wanted to share one thing - may be other chapters do have similar thing. Other than the events and activities, we have a Network meeting for the members in our local chapter. We discuss and learn new things from the fellow members over the dinner.

I've visited a number of Chapters as a speaker and guest and yes, they do all seem to have a selection of events for members. However, as you'd expect with any voluntary-run organisation, I imagine the programme for the year is only as ambitious as the committee behind it, so what each Chapter offers is necessarily going to differ.
