Defining a Project Portfolio...

I posted a new article to the site about defining what makes a project portfolio. Most of the research and discussions I've seen assume that the manager understands what goes into a portfolio. I disagree and that's why I wrote the article. What do you think? Is the definition I wrote right or how would you change it? Do you have your own definition for a project portfolio?
