And I will recommend as usual to practice multiple number of simulated tests which helps you to increase you confidence levels.
Upon finishing the practice exam, you receive a summary chart outlining your performance in each knowledge area. I used this data to determine which chapters I needed to further review.
It is important to note that the actual exam is more challenging than the practice exams. I definitely do believe that passing the exam is about using logic, not solely memorizing inputs and outputs. If you are able to understand what the tools and techniques are, you will understand what processes they apply to. For example, if you understand that decomposition is about breaking something down, you will be able to identify that this is not a tool used in Develop Schedule but rather a tool used in Define Activities. Since the exam is multiple choice, knowing what doesn't belong is just as important as what does.
On the day of the exam, you will have the opportunity to run through a practice tutorial to become familiar with the software. Since you are unable to bring anything in, be sure to eat well and drink lots beforehand! They do allow you to leave the room for water, however, this counts against your time. I personally found that exam time was more than enough though. I was done my first pass after an hour and a half and had enough time to review all my marked questions as well as the entire exam and additional time. After finishing, you are asked to complete a quick survey about your experience. Once you complete that, a screen will pop up to tell you the results, hopefully, a CONGRATULATIONS message.
