I just passed the CAPM yesterday! Now what?

I am in the process of documenting lessons learned and will share with anyone interested.
Question - Which process am in in? :-)

Next is to find a job. I am willing to work cheap as I do not have much Project Management experience. The Projects I have worked on were rather small. I prefer Software Development, Product Design, or Media (TV, Radio, etc) industries but am open. If you know of something please let me know.

Also, my credential is not showing up yet. Not here nor on pmi.org. I have received the email from PMI with Congrats and I will get a certificate in several weeks etc, but I assumed it would show up here and PMI.org quickly. Any idea how long it will take?

It will take about two weeks to get your certificate copy. However If you are a PMI member then you can download the soft copy of your certificate from myPMI section once you login there.
All d best..

Congrats, Jared!!

For job hunting, I'd recommend LinkedIn Jobs and Indeed.com

And regardless of experience, do not sell yourself cheap. Good luck with the hunt!

Congratulations Jared! That's great to hear that you received the CAPM certification.

You will be receiving your badge on your profile soon! Once PMI is notified by the testing center that you passed your exam and your PMI.org information is updated, you will see your badge appear on your ProjectManagement.com profile shortly after. You should see this within the next couple of days.

I hope that helps!

Congratulations again!

Congrats Jared! You have some project management experience so you already one step closer to landing a PM role. Before approaching recruiters or companies, first look at your resume and make sure that it clearly states the type of role that you are looking for, and it highlights all your relevant experience. Update your LinkedIn profile too if you have one. Use your network, people that you have worked with in the past may be able to refer you for roles. Contact agencies and companies as well.
