I am a new Technology Manager with plenty of management experience but not alot in technology. Any inspiring information or advice would be appreciated.

Hi strangely I have kind of the opposite problem , Im trying to learn How IT projects differ from other projects not IT related. I would appreciate to hear your thoughts , IM an engineer , and asking same question to others.
