I recently joined a new organization, as Project Manager, I came from oil and gas NOC, and moving to EPCO company
What are the important things I must ask for and must be aware of in order to: 1- Quickly fit into the new role 2- Not to miss the important things 3- Not to waste time in the too much details!!!

1. Understand the project goals and what it is supposed to accomplish
2. Interact with your team, and peers including functional managers, line of business
3. Make your own understanding of the project objectives and deliverables
4. Review the charter
5. As you progress, you will end up having your own checklist
