I don't understand how they would get your email address on LinkedIn, unless you actually provide it to them. Am I missing something?

Here are some lessons learned:
1. Don't trust what everyone writes in their websites
2. Google for more info about the company and see its reputation (When I started to doubt about it, it was too late and I found some posts from people that had similar problems with this company).
3. Ask your colleagues around if they have been contacted from this company.
