Off-shore IT projects

Has anyone worked or currently working on overseas projects? Can anyone recommend how to find overseas IT projects or companies which are looking for project managers to manage their IT projects?

Where are you looking for? I've observed that you are in TX, USA. Are you looking in Europe, Asia...?

Each country have their gold websites to look for this kind of positions. Take in mind visa request for each country.

Hello Maria, yes, Europe, Asia or Middle East. Can you please send me a link so that I can look into that? I have USA passport so I shouldn't have any visa issues.

Each country have different web sites, I can send you information about Europe. Are you looking for a full time or contract position?

Regarding your US citizen status and European regulations Generally, a European employer who wants to hire a non-European Union citizen must demonstrate that they can’t fill the position with an EU citizen. It means same rule as if one European citizen would like to work in USA.

Immigration law in the U.K. is complex, and much depends on what country you are from. If you are a citizen of a Commonwealth country (including Canada and Australia).

I am looking for contract telecommuting position in the IT field area so that I can manage IT projects from here. I think for contract positions it shouldn't be a problem right but if there are restrictions then I will focus in different region. Which region you think I might have better luck Middle East?
