Moments ago, in a different thread, it was asked about people posting and or replying equally (paraphrased) and I thought about this subject. I'm anxious to read the replies and truly hope people are honest. Feel free to post anonymously if your employer frowns on upon visiting external websites while at work.

As I'm part of our internal PMO, there is the need to challenge our knowledge - and to exchange with other colleagues outside our company. Also our "normal" project managers (and other employees, too) are encouraged to stay up to date - and they may use company equipment and hours to do so. Of course, project or work objectives and milestones have to be reached. But new knowledge improves our productivity, so there's win-win for all of us: employees, employer and community - even for our clients :-)
