I was looking through various websites to identify a good time tracking tool. If the tool gives us ability to load the project related activity list and track the time it would be much more easier to have clear understanding and tracking of projects,. Further this could be incorporated into operations as well.

Is there no one in the forum who could answer this question and provide tool names other what we have under tools in the website?

There are a number of time tracking tools available - some might be over kill depending on the number of projects/activities you are tracking - your question does not state reference to that information. You need some criteria to evaluate the tool choices; the list of functionality that is 'required' versus the functionality that might be more a 'wish list' to help you evaluate which tool will be a best fit for your company.Your choice of tool will also have to take into consideration the IT side of the equation - what systems would the tool need to communicate with, do you have IT support and infrastructure required to roll out the chosen tool. This is not an all inclusive list, but I hope it helps get you started on the evaluation path.

You can use SharePoint.

Create a Tracking List, team can fill respective activities.
At the EOD you can pull the list into spreadsheet, and validate it.
If you SYNC the spreadsheet with SharePoint, all changes done in spreadsheet can be noticed at SharePoint list by team.

The same spreadsheet can also be integrated into lot of other activities, like report and dashboard publishing, MS Project, etc.

You can also use 'Clarity'.

Agree with you Mary-Lynn. Your inputs are valid. I have kind of missed the IT part. Thanks for putting it on my check list.
