I have been working with many people having different school of thoughts and knowledge background. In some situations, individuals think themselves correct at their positions due to different institutional growth and/or ex-employers’ work environment. Difficult to understand which one is closer to perfection and will be proven correct at later stage. Does the judging criteria is relevant experience, educational strength or position/rank in the organization?
It often happens when I can feel two arguments equally weigh comparing to each other in certain situation while opposite direction due to runner and swimmer theory of people minds and actions.
How to equate team members while selecting one option and negating other’s without disappointing each other's feelings

Great question. This is common across all industry.

Cultivate trust and respect in team, prefer collaborative approach, acknowledge and give recognition to small efforts made, coach and lead by example.

Strictly avoid comparison, give positive feedback only (negative feedback could be discouraging and fatal sometimes), work on teams weaknesses & look for improvement opportunities.
