I am assisting on a large-scale enterprise-wide project. Part of my function within the project will be to give both module and overall status reports. Which is fine... but I am also tasked with creating a "project dashboard" which will show at a glance, graphically, what tasks are on time, which are behind, and which are delayed. Does anyone know of a way to link columns, and their values, from project to use with another tool, (like crystal) to create the bar and pie charts for the CEO, et.al. Thanks, in advance...

Brian,

You can save your MS-Project file as a database (MS-Access) which works quite nicely provided you understand the layout. Once you have the file in MS-Access, you can pretty much do as you please with Crystal or any other report writer. It works quite well having done so before.
