This would make it even complicated. i believe!
But i would say make it logic and reasonable
it is good to have it logic and reasonable for everything.. when it comes to project management many factors could affect the extent of logic and reasonability .. the requirements, the scope, knowledge and experience of the project team, stakeholder expectations, applicable roles, standards and regulations, contracts terms and conditions, applicable law etc. Saving Changes...

you can't just follow the PMBOK. every organization has its own culture and has its own EEFs. In my opinion, the best way is to create the project team then agree with all on the methodology.
I disagree that you can't just follow the PMBOK. If you are trying to find your way through Project Management, what else is there to follow? I fully understand that following the PMBOK "by the book" is often not an option, however if you want simplicity that works, there are not many options that will keep project management simple. No ... we are not debating using the PMBOK as basis for differentiation.. it is only that while we agree that the PMBOK covers almost all what we want to know on project management, when we do project management we always depend on the practicality that we find in front of us..

Farid, I agree with your comments 100%. Practicality matters a great deal.

That reminds me of another quote: "Centralize complexity and distribute simplicity." This was the adage that infrastructure and application development teams lived by.
