I think that maybe we can add "future prediction" based on the actual conditions, than we can influence in the projects.

All time independent of the type of project manager should develop leadership, effective communication, and team building
Additionally from my point of view the most important soft skills that you must have as project manager may be different depending on the type of project and the magnitude of it .

When there were good prices for the oil market, I used to work on multicultural projects for oil industry during several years on those projects the increasing diversity of culture, language, age and background made it necessary project managers with strong attitudes on Trust building, Cultural Knowledge, Decisions makings and dispute resolution

Now working on technology projects same business, same organization at a country with an economy depressed and oil prices going down I believe motivation, proactivity, influence and creativity will be decisive for the success of the project
